Shiksha Mahakumbh Abhiyan (SMA) is a transformative, multinational movement conceptualized by Vidya Bharti to reimagine the Bharatiya education system. Rooted in indigenous knowledge and aligned with global standards, it unites educationists, policymakers and youth to build an ethical, interdisciplinary and globally inclusive ecosystem.

Legacy of Shiksha Mahakumbh
Each edition of the Mahakumbh extends beyond dialogue and deliberation. It generates concrete action plans, fosters institutional partnerships and encourages community participation, ensuring sustainable and measurable impact. Each edition builds upon the achievements of the previous one, creating a continuous chain of innovation and implementation.
So far, SMA has a legacy of five editions held at NIT Jalandhar, Kurukshetra, Srinagar, Kurukshetra University and NIPER Mohali.

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur
National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NIT Hamirpur), an Institute of National Importance, is one of Bharat’s leading institutions of higher technical education, located in the serene and picturesque landscape of Himachal Pradesh.
Established in 1986 as a Regional Engineering College (REC), it was elevated to the status of a National Institute of Technology in 2002 and recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of Bharat. Spread over 177 acres, the campus is known for its calm environment, lush greenery and the inspiring backdrop of the Himalayan hills.
The institute offers a wide range of programs including B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, M.Arch and PhD covering engineering, architecture, sciences, management and humanities.
